Recognizing Contributions to Reducing Global Warming and Improving Air Quality

Breathe California of the Central Coast's 1st annual Clean Air Awards Reception, focusing on positive initiatives that are being taken to reduce global warming and air pollution, was held on Thursday, June 3rd in Monterey. Local leaders were recognized for their work in the areas of Climate Change, Leadership and Technology.

Better Breathers Class
Wednesday, January 18th

Better Breathers Classes provide support and education for COPD patients and their families, offer opportunities for those with lung disease to learn more about their condition and teach strategies to improve breathing and quality of life. The classes also offer a comfortable setting in which participants can share their own experiences and concerns about coping with lung illness.

Breathe California Central Coast Fights Childhood Asthma

Child with Asthma Breathe California Central Coast’s Asthma Educators teach children to take control of their asthma leading to an overall 90% reduction in asthma-related hospitalizations and ER visits in program participants.
