Events and Conferences
“Breathe California Central Coast has hosted a major professional medical conference at the Inn on Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach for 14 years. Typically the educational content addresses pulmonary health, and the curriculum is designed to attract licensed medical professionals including physicians, nurses, nurse-practitioners and respiratory therapists from across the region. Attendees receive continuing medical educational credit for their full participation and the educational content is developed by a Conference Committee representing a cross-section of medical professionals and educators with an interest in improving the knowledge and skills of our practitioners concerning lung-health, especially chronic or disabling health conditions amenable to the chronic disease management model.
In 2007, our medical conference entitled “ Asthma, Emphysema and Chronic Bronchitis: A Day and Nightime Approach to COPD” will be held on Friday, November 15, 2007. When the curriculum and roster of presenters is finalized over the Summer we will post links to the Conference and Registration information on this page.
From time to time, BCCC also sponsors smaller continuing medical educational (CME) events in the evenings geared to the needs of local medical practitioners.
